Putting this gallery together has made me realize I don’t take enough pictures. Below are a few pictures from 2015 with our new crane:
Winter Tree Removal, Livonia, MI

We recently removed 2 large cottonwood trees from a back yard in Livonia, MI. In certain situations it is very beneficial to remove trees in the winter time. In this case, we waited until January when the ground was frozen. The frozen ground, along with laying down 3/4″ thick plywood, allowed us to drive our crane into the customers back yard and remove the trees without a trace of us ever being there. Our work load is less in the winter time so we will often discount large jobs quoted in peak season to help fill our schedule.

Last week Brad and I attended the MGIA 2012. Each year the MGIA Trade Show seems to get better, and this year was no exception. Many familiar faces, new products, and educational seminars to attend. Brad enrolled in the 2 day Tree Worker Training Symposium, while I checked out seminars like “Signs, Symptoms, Treatment Options and Research of Plant Diseases, Pests & other Conundrums” and “Trunk Injections for Effective Control of Tree Insect Pests & Diseases”. These 2 seminars in particular were important for me to soak up as much information as possible, as we will be offering trunk injections in 2012.

In January of 2012 Brad Poock, our crew leader, completed the Electrical Hazards Awareness Program.
It is important for all arborists to be educated in the dangers of working around utility lines. We have to work around electrical hazards on a daily basis. Our customers can count on our commitment to training and education, which produces higher quality, safer results on their property.

Welcome to our new site design. This winter I have taken the time to redesign our website. I hope that this new version offers our customers easier navigation, more information, and a cleaner look. One of our goals is to educate our customers about their trees. We are constantly updating our portfolio, which highlights our work and offers incite into how we operate. This is my first post on thearborman.com blog, the main purpose of this blog will be to help educate our customers and the public about their trees and our company. There are a lot of tree services out there that make recommendations based on false information, or even worse, bad recommendations that cost you more money. We are not one of those companies. I encourage you to read through our site, flip through our photo galleries, and watch our videos. You will find a company with an outstanding service record, whose services are backed by the latest scientific research, technology and techniques.
